Step 1:
Prepare
Remove soil by rinsing the roots thoroughly, or use water-rooted plants directly. For stubborn soil, soak the roots in water for 10-15 minutes to loosen the particles and gently massage to release. Giving the roots a trim before potting can reduce chance of root rot and promote new water root growth.
Step 2:
Pot
Fill the inner pot 1/4 with pon, position the plant and spread its roots evenly, and then fill the remaining space with pon. Tap and shake the pot lightly to ensure the pon and roots have settled.
Step 3:
Water
Water the plant from the top every 2 to 3 days for a total of 8 weeks or until new roots appear. Once new root growth has appeared, you may water until the reservoir is full (water level just below the bottom of the inner pot) and allow the plant to drink directly from the reservoir.
Step 4:
Maintain
For most plants, water periodically, not allowing the reservoir to run empty. For plants that prefer to dry out between waterings, water lightly and allow the reservoir to dry out before the next watering. For nutrient feeding, use an all-in-one comprehensive liquid fertilizer designed for hydroponic use, and feed every time you water. Your plant is ready to thrive!

Our Story
For People Who Love Plants
We started our shop after realizing that there aren’t many options for a hydroponic kit that is both aesthetic and functional. My partner, who values craftsmanship and convenience complains how he can’t find pre-washed pon even though he is willing to pay a premium for it. I on the other hand wanted something that was beginner friendly but also cute! So together we put together our vision: a kit that is 1) beginner and lazy plant parent friendly, 2) has functionalities that seasoned plant lovers are looking for, 3) cute and 4) good for the environment!!
We really put a lot into researching the optimal pon mix and how to design and bring a pot to life through 3d printing. Not to mention triple washing our pon mix to make sure the mix is pristine and not clogging anyone’s sink.
We are now finally putting our baby out in the world. It has passed the test for me and my partner but I can’t wait to hear how others finds it.
